Pho soup. Absolutely fantastic! I love it. What an original idea. The bowl itself, the vibrancy of the colours of the spring onions, chilli slices and the lime provide a balance to the creaminess of the noodles. Topped with bright red chopsticks.

Noah's Arc. The animals come in two by two, harrah, harrah! No details has been overlooked here from the wooden planks making up the arc to the straw thatched roof. I love the tiny white doves on the roof and adore the little blue smiling whales. A really cute novelty cake.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The details in the dwarfs, the tree trunk, the log and the tiny flowers. A little girl's dream.

A Miniature Violin Cake. The colours of the violon, the shadows on the wood, so much depth and intricacy. The delicate skirt of the white cloth it sits on. Just beautiful.

Cute grey elephant. So adorable! Apart from the fact that I am highly partial to baby elephants it's not hard to see why this might be a favourite. The little baby elephant in grey with his soft pink inner ears, the bubbles and of course the water spouting from his trunk. This was another miniature cake.

And finally this two-tiered white lace cake. A first place winner! The delicate lace and soft pink roses – all hand made. Hours and hours of work. Embellished with a sweet little topper and white ribbon. Precious!
